George Abraham is Partner and Creative Director at Hue & Why - brand strategy & design studio based in Kochi, India.

Previously he was Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy, India. With a professional degree in Applied Art and a certification in UX Design, he has previously worked across creative agencies like R/GA Singapore, JWT, Ogilvy, McGarryBowen, Bates and Contract. Over a career spanning 18 years, he has worked on brands like Airbnb, Nike, Budweiser, Google, IndiGo Airlines, Ola, GoDaddy, Uber, Crocs, Van Heusen, Lee Jeans and more.

He has won the prestigious One Show Design, Cannes Lions, Cannes Design Lions, SpikesAsia and Olive Crown Awards.

As a part of giving back to the design community, he has facilitated 10+ Colour & Design Workshops across 5 metro cities in India, attended by client teams (brand & product design), agency teams, design teams, entrepreneurs and more. He has also curated and created unique exhibitions like ‘A Custom Motorcycle & Its Making’, ‘Narratives of Today: In Colour’ - a painting series based on colour trend stories, and is currently working on ‘Documenting Nowness’ - a painting series capturing the overlaying of pop culture aspects in our minds.

His work featured here spans a spectrum of integrated campaigns, digital creatives, brand identity projects, logo designs, illustrations, paintings, motorcycle redesign concepts and curated exhibitions.
